Introducing Dr. Paula E. Peet
“I feel as if I have been born to this profession, having heard about chiropractic and received its benefits myself since birth. My parents made sure that my immune and nervous systems were healthy. They did this by giving me chiropractic adjustments from the time I was born.” Dr. Paula Peet is proud to be a third generation chiropractic doctor. One grandparent, both parents and several uncles were chiropractors. Now, in the third generation, three of five siblings are chiropractors with practices in New York, Vermont and Pompano Beach.
“To become a doctor of Chiropractic requires a four-year undergraduate degree plus four years of Chiropractic College. Then one must be licensed, meeting each state’s criteria individually. Our education rivals that of a medical doctor except for the pharmacology. Our position is chiropractic first, drugs second, surgery last.”
Dr. Paula attended Life University in Marietta, GA and earned a Doctorate Degree in Chiropractic. Also having advanced training in nutrition and physiotherapy, she utilizes a multi-disciplinary approach. After graduation, in 1992, she taught chiropractic students in the clinic at Life Chiropractic College for five and a half years. Since moving to Florida she has continuously practiced for other chiropractic offices until purchasing her own practice in Pompano Beach in 2004.
Dr. Paula now lives and works in Pompano Beach. In her free time, she swims, reads and plays with her black lab, Nikita.
